In the Dialogue of Possibilities

Startai workshop

Kunstakademie Tegernsee, Steinmetzplatz 3, 83684 Tegernsee

(Basic course, 2 days) Fri + Sat, 04./ 05.09.26, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day – Click here to register!

Digital developments are changing the art world—and artificial intelligence is opening up new avenues for creative work. In this two-day workshop, creative professionals without prior technical knowledge will discover how AI can enrich their own process. The focus is on “prompting”—the art of creating images with language. Step by step, you will learn to experiment with AI, visualize ideas, and expand your visual language. We explore where analog practice and digital possibilities meet: as a source of ideas, a sketching aid, or an impulse for new perspectives. AI is nothing more and nothing less than your creative assistant. All you need is curiosity and a willingness to try new things.

What to bring: iPad/tablet, cell phone, or laptop, sketchbook (if available)

Included: Materials (drawing paper, pencils, binder for sketches)

AI in Artistic Practice

Startai workshop

Kunstakademie Tegernsee, Steinmetzplatz 3, 83684 Tegernsee

(Basic course, 2 days) Sat + Sun, February 21/22, 2026, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day – Click here to register

Day 1: Artistic workflows, hybrid design, collage, material practice, and image aesthetics – taught artistically, practice-oriented, and without technical pressure.

There is plenty of room for free experimentation: you work at your own pace, receive individual support and specific guidance when you need it. In a focused, relaxed atmosphere, time often flies by. A joint lunch break invites open conversation, exchange, and networking.

Day 2: The workshop ends on Sunday afternoon with a joint exhibition setup, where selected works are presented.

After completing the basic course, we will show the results in a public group exhibition—together with works by artist and course instructor Erika Kassnel-Henneberg.

Afterwards, we will open our doors for an open house for friends and acquaintances—as an appreciative conclusion to share insights, make processes visible, and celebrate the resulting works together.

No prior knowledge required.

Please bring: iPad/tablet, cell phone, or laptop, sketchbook (if available)

Workshop Tegernsee Teens

Workshop day for young talents – Sat, January 31 2026

World of Tomorrow

Sat, Jan. 31, 2026, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Age: 12 to 16

Maximum number of participants: 10

In this workshop, you will create your own visual world. Whether it’s fantasy worlds, fashion, vehicles, characters, places, or your own personal theme, you will develop a vision that comes from within yourself. Real, invented, or somewhere in between—what matters is your imagination, your style, your perspective. You will work with drawings and develop your idea further, deepening or changing it. AI serves as a creative catalyst, opening up new perspectives and taking your work further—without defining it.

WORLD OF TOMORROW is not a technology workshop or a mission for the future. It’s about free art, expression, and playing with ideas and images. You decide where your work goes. Don’t worry: you don’t have to learn any technology. But if you’d like to try out AI image generators for yourself, I’ll be there to guide you.

At the end, your work will be part of an exhibition by AI artist Erika Kassnel-Henneberg. So you’ll not only get creative input, but also the chance to present your ideas to an audience.

Workshoptag für junge Talente – Samstag, 31. Januar 2026

Glittering worlds & speedy cars

Sat, January 31, 2026, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Age: 6 to 12

Maximum number of participants: 10

In this workshop, you will design your own crazy fantasy world—whether it’s a fairytale castle, a dragon, a cake rocket, or a super soap bubble mobile!

First, you’ll draw and paint diligently. Then we’ll feed your picture and descriptive words to an AI image generator. I’ll accompany you during this “predator feeding.” Let’s see what the AI recognizes in your picture. Sometimes it’s right, sometimes it’s completely wrong – and that’s what makes it so much fun!

In the end, your picture will be part of a real exhibition. This way, you can show all visitors what fantastic ideas you have!

After the workshop day, we will present the results of the children’s and youth workshops publicly in a joint exhibition.
