“(…) Pain and comfort – and one’s own mortality. The latter is conveyed in a particularly impressive and touching way by Erika Kassnel-Henneberg. What remains when a person is gone forever? Such an abandoned room is a shrine of memories: letters, photos, yellowed notes… What significance does an old photo album have when there is no one left to tell the stories of these people? Erika Kassnel-Henneberg has brought them back to life virtually post mortem. A quiet, touching moment in the exhibition.”
